MUNA KORORE Nigeria (tHT) – On Monday, June 19, Plan International, a leading non-governmental organisation working in Nigeria, handed over a fully-equipped computer and ICT hub to a public secondary school in Muna Korore village, Borno state.
The state-of-the-art facility includes 15 internet-connected desktop computers, a projector and screen, computer desks and seats, and a solar-powered electricity supply.
The ICT hub was handed over to the Borno state government through the State Universal Education Board (SUBEB).

He expressed his gratitude and satisfaction with the quality of the facilities and the positive impact on the school’s administration.

“The ICT hub’s staff were trained by community-based teachers, who will continue maintaining the facility and providing computer training to students,” he said.

Project Facilitator Najib Abdulwahab said the ccentrehas provided the school staff with the capacity to handle many of their academic tasks electronically, including generating report cards via Excel.
Project Manager Fati Ali Kyarmi stated that the ICT hub is one of tPlan International’s interventions in five selected public schools across Borno state.
The organization has also supplied VIP segregated toilets and special learning centers in all selected schools.
