It was another day of happiness and joy for the people of Kaga/Gubio/Magumeri of Borno state, when the House of Representatives member, Usman Zannah, distributed food items to about 5,000 households.
Honorable Zannah, a renowned grassroots politician who is serving a second term as a House of Reps member made the distribution on Monday in Maiduguri, the state capital at an elaborate occasion attended by stakeholders within his constituency.
Addressing the beneficiaries from Kaga, Gubio, and Magumeri local government areas, the lawmaker said the purpose of the food palliative was to alleviate the current hardship being faced in the country in line with the directives of the federal government headed by President Bola Tinubu and vice president, Kashim Shettima.

He sympathized with the people of his constituency on the ongoing economic hardship even as he stressed that “we want to assure you that we will continue to do our best in addressing the situation even as I shall always be there to provide my little support at the times of your need.”
He urged the people to be more patient as the federal government works hard to reverse the trends of economic hardship and put Nigeria on the path of prosperity.
“We have committed leaders in the persons of Vice President Kashim Shettima, and Governor Zulum who are working tirelessly to actualize the good policies and the renewed hope initiatives of President Bola Tinubu.

“And I want to commend the Vice President and the Governor of Borno state for the tireless work they are doing to bring lasting peace in our state and the country at large,” he said.
“We have no doubts in their ability to take Nigeria to prosperity because they share the same vision and the same ideology,” he enthused.
Chairman of Magumeri, Abubakar Abdulkadir, and Gubio, Mali Bulama, as well as of Kaga local government, Mairu Abdallah, praised the lawmaker for sustained kindness, especially by reaching out to his constituents in these times of need.

“Honorable Usman Zanna has led with example and we enjoin all other public office holders to follow his steps,” said Mali Gubio the chairman of the Gubio local government area.
The event which was attended by various party and community stakeholders had thousands of beneficiaries smiling home with bags of rice and sugar even as they prayed for the lawmaker’s wellbeing in office.
