In a recent operation, troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Hybrid and Civilian JTF Forces, successfully neutralized four Boko Haram terrorists during a clash in Bula Dalo Village, Bama Local Government Area of Borno on July 6, 2024, according to intelligence sources.
The insurgents, according to Zagazola Makama, a Security Analyst in the Lake Chad region, who earlier reported this, the insurgents were taken down in the operation, with the troops also seizing various weapons and ammunition, including 80 rounds of 7.62mm x 54 metal links, 2 FN rifle magazines, and 2 G3 rifle magazines (unserviced).
Following the clash, the troops cleared terrorist enclaves in Jango 1, 2, and 3, Arra, Bula Dalo, Ari Kanumbu, Bula Ali, and Mallam Modu Commander. Although the terrorists managed to flee before the troops’ arrival, engagement at Garin Bayero saw the terrorists retreating due to the superior firepower of the troops, with some sustaining bullet wounds.
The Nigerian army’s Operation Hadin Kai, strengthened by the Air Task Force, continues to intensify its offensive operations to dislodge terrorists from their hideouts and enhance security in the affected communities.
